“Here I am…still enjoying my family & friends, still seeing God’s glory, still making memories.”

Becky Beggs

Meet Becky: A Stage 4 Thriver, Mom, and Soon-to-Be Grandma!
If there’s one thing Becky Beggs has taught us, it’s that cancer doesn’t get to write the whole story. Diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer in 2014, Becky has spent the last decade proving that life is still filled with love, laughter, and incredible moments.
She’s a proud mom, a loving wife, and soon, she’ll be welcoming her very first grandbaby! Through every chemo session, every tough day, and every challenge, Becky has kept her heart full and her focus on the people she loves. From celebrating her mom’s 80th birthday to watching her sons chase their dreams, she’s embraced every milestone with gratitude.
But Becky isn’t just living her own story—she’s making sure others feel supported too. She assembles and delivers chemo care bags to fellow patients at Moffitt Cancer Center, a small but powerful way of letting others know they’re not alone. Her faith has remained her anchor, keeping her active in church ministries and inspiring those around her with her resilience.
She recently learned about BCFCF and is excited to attend support groups to connect with others who have breast cancer and volunteer wherever she can.”
Now, as she gets ready to step into the role of Grandma, Becky’s story is a testament to the power of hope, strength, and a heart full of love. She’s proof that a Stage IV diagnosis isn’t the end—it’s just a different kind of journey.
Let’s celebrate Becky and remind every fighter out there that their story is still being written. 💕
