Lakeland Gazette — Desmond Clark to Speak at Pink Ribbon Gala
The Lakeland Gazette featured the Breast Cancer Foundation of Central Florida’s announcement that Lakeland native, former NFL standout, entrepreneur and nationally recognized speaker Desmond Clark will serve as special guest speaker for the 9th Annual Pink Ribbon Gala.
Clark’s connection to the evening is personal. He lost his mother in 2015 following her eight-year battle with breast cancer.
The 9th Annual Pink Ribbon Gala: License to Heal will be held on October 3, 2026, at Bonnet Springs Park in Lakeland.
